She has also created and led numerous groups on women’s issues, addiction, relapse prevention, life skills, and others.

Her work experience for the past eight years has included working as a guidance counselor in a high school, as a child and family therapist, as a therapist at a dual-diagnosis mental health center (co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues), as a counselor at Craig Hospital, as a therapist in the Counseling Center at Colorado State University, as a therapist at a substance abuse treatment facility, and as an assessment specialist at a private agency.
Arete is a Greek concept representing excellence and wholeness. A man or woman of Arete is a person of the highest effectiveness who uses their strength, bravery, spirituality, and intelligence to achieve their highest human potential. Arete is the epitome of health, empowerment, and growth. Dr. Tindall has named her clinical practice Arete Counseling Services in honor of this virtue. She believes that through hard work and proper guidance, we can all reach a state of Arete! As your partner in this journey, Dr. Tindall and the staff at Arête Psychological Services are not willing to settle for anything less than getting exactly what it is you want.
